This interview with Chino Moreno was recorded in 1997 when The Deftones were touring with their second album, "Around The Fur". He told us about the sound and feeling of the album.

"A lot of the earlier metal was just straight heavy, aggressive and angry. But at the moment I was writing I felt really vulnerable, so I thought, 'why don't I put that on tape now' and it came out really natural. But the music is gonna be heavy regardless."
