The Quicksand guys were in The Netherlands to promote their new album 'Manic Compression'. We did an interview with them about their songs:

"I don't think the songs we write are pop songs or are catchy in that way at all. I think you have to listen to it and get in to it. It has a certain appeal, but not an instant candy-like appeal."

Unfortunately Quicksand played their final show on October 12, 1995.
