Video interview with Brakes (2007)

Brakes from Brighton formed in 2002, and have released two albums: Give
Blood (2005) and Beatific Visions (2006). Brakes know how to get a party started with their cheerful energetic songs, but they also want their music to have a message. Toazted met up with singer Eamon Hamilton and bass player Marc Beatty in Amsterdam, March 2007.
In this interview Eamon explains their track 'Cease and Desist', in
which he sings about God playing poker with the Devil:
"I read the Book of Job, and God is this psycho in it... I thought I'd
rewrite it."
