We had a relaxed interview with Live drummer, Chad Gracey in 2003. He spoke extensively about their latest CD, "Birds of Pray". Live have been touring all over the world and we asked Chad what the differences are between the European and American fans.

"The European fans love music and they don't care what it is and the Americans are a little more judgmental and picky...but it's all good."

We did an interview with Patrick Dahlheimer in an Amsterdam hotel on May 15th, 2003. He told us some nice stories about the recording of their last album "Birds of Pray".

Singer Ed Kowalczyk tells us in this interview about the writing process for the songs on the album "The Distance To Here".

"We wrote over 50 songs, we recorded 25 and then chose 13. It was a long process, it took us about a year and a half between recording and writing."

Live bassist Patrick Dahlheimer did an interview with us in 1997 about the pitfalls of success:

"The commercial side of Live is in a business that's full of building stars and of making somebody seem more than what they are. It sort of builds up the ego. We constantly have to try to shun that off and get rid of it to stay normal."
