Gary Jules is an American songwriter who covered Tears For Fears' song, 'Mad World'. The song became a hit after it appeared in the film 'Donnie Darko'. In an interview he told us why that particular song was used for the movie.

"The Tears For Fears album is all very much about adolescence, about being between childhood and adulthood, about knowing things and about having wisdom, but not having the experience to prove it. That is what attracted us to that particular song because it spoke to that particular time in life."
