January 2005. Swedish rockband Mando Diao released their second album "Hurricane Bar." Toazted asked Bjorn and Gustaf about the recording process, their success in Japan and the coming tour.

"We knew from the start that we would become famous!"

We did an interview with Mando Diao while they were in Amsterdam to play a concert in March 2004. The interview is about Japan, the first album and sickness.

"We sold gold in Japan in a month. That was easy work. It's going so well."

We did an interview with Mando Diao. Someone once dubbed their music "Beatles jamming with Sex Pistols". This popular Swedish band just scored a hit single thanks to a song they recorded for a Dutch commercial.

"I don't mind being in a commercial because they've got nothing on us. If you got a song that's been bad just because it plays on a commercial then it's not a good song. If you got a good song then nothing can hurt it. You can put it in a Coca Cola commercial anytime you like and it wouldn't get bad."
