The new Counting Crows record is like a vinyl, with two sides. 'Saturday Nights and Sunday Mornings' was even recorded in two seperate studio's. Dan and David explain everything about it, talk about their tour, the Dutch language and get shot a couple of times during the interview on Pinkpop.

'It's like Nam out here!'

Counting Crow Adam Duritz talked to Toazted in a taxi to Amsterdam. The album 'Hard Candy' is about to be released and Adam tells us how the songs came together.

"I wrote some of the lyrics when I was drunk on a holiday in Spain. It seems really cheap but it turned out great!"

Matt and Adam were in town in 2000 to promote their album 'This Desert Life'.

"We normally record in our house because we have a pool and you can throw everything in the pool."
