Video Interview with Amy Lee

Amy Lee tells us among other things about her ultimate Pinkpop feeling.
Video interview with Terry from Evanescence

Evanescence got big after the monster hit "Bring Me To Life" in 2003. Singer Amy Lee was left alone by almost every band member. She kept holding on, wrote some new tunes, found a new writing pal, Terry, and by the release of their album "The Open Door" the band was back in business. Selling millions again and a huge hit 'Call Me When You're Sober' in their back pocket. Terry tells what happened during the writing process. Recorded in november 2006.

Great interview with Amy Lee

We have a backstage interview with Amy Lee at the Pinkpop Festival in June 2003. She talks about the bands sudden success, humble beginnings, frozen atmosphere and positive outlook. She also explains to us the story behind the single 'Bring Me To Life'.
"Someone just said something to me once and I blew it way out of proportion for the song but I was going through a very hard time in my life and I was totally in denial and I met someone that day and he asked me "are you happy?" It shocked me and made me reevaluate everything that was going on and that's basically what the song is about; finding something that you want to live for."
