We spoke to Mike D in 1994 about the B-Boys future samba projects, basketball and their audiences.

"You got Onyx slamdancing; B-boys moshing; you got the bogart kids doing the hip hop pogo; you got the hip hop kids rockin' in Doc Martens; and you got the punk rock kids in old school adidas... It's all coming together."

Toazted talked to Beastie Boy MCA in 1994 during the Ill Communication Tour and we asked him about the Beastie Boys' street credibility.

"I don't sit around thinking about whether what I do has street credibility or not. The thing that keeps what we're doing interesting is that we try to stay in the present, and not put too much forethought or afterthought in it."
