Tripping Daisy interview
You all known the Polyphonic Spree. They look almost like some cult, this big group of people. When they go onstage, they look like a rainbow. But they perform gorgeous gospelpop.
But they didnt come out of nowhere. Singer Tim DeLaughter founded Tripping Daisy in the early nineties in Dallas. A succesfull period for the band that had a more rock-oriented sound wich triggered some comparissons with the (psychedelic period of) The Beatles.
The succesfull period of the band was unfortunately ended by the death of guitarist Wes Berggren who died of an overdosis.
